Glen Powell certainly has a creative mind. The actor’s lookalike content was held on Sunday, November 24, in his native place, Austin, Texas and was attended by several of his lookalikes. But it got more interesting when the actor announced the prize, which was a cameo in his upcoming film.

According to Fox 7, the venue where the event was held, Auditorium Shores in Town Lake, was filled with several of Powell’s lookalikes.

The sad part was that Powell was not physically able to reach the location as he was busy filming his next venture titled The Running Man in England. The actor’s mother and aunt were reportedly present during the competition to help choose the winner. However, The Top Gun: Maverick star found a way to get involved in the event by FaceTiming the event and sending the organizers a message promising a grand prize for the winner.

In his one-and-a-half-minute video, the actor quipped about a look-alike contest for This Is Us actor Justin Hartley, saying that he had gathered people there to carry out the robbery. He told them that they didn’t even need masks because they all had the same face.

“And we don’t need masks because we all have the same face: it’s the perfect crime,” Powell said. They can’t catch us all because we are one – a criminal glen-terprise. Also, I know it’s November, but if no one is shirtless for no reason, then this whole thing is a sham and, obviously, no one is committed to it.

After this the actor talked about the award. He spoke knowing that there was some money and a hat at stake, but he said that the winner of the contest would receive a personal price for it.

According to reports, the actor further revealed that his parents appear in each of his films. Powell said, “But today, the winner of the Glen Powell Lookalike Contest wins a cameo in my next film for his or her parents or a family member of their choice. I am completely serious. It is a prize with a cash value of US$6 billion.

But this is not the first lookalike competition organized in recent times. At different locations, similar content was held for Timothee Chalamet, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Paul Maskell, Dev Patel and many other celebrities.
