The makers of the Ghat starring Anushka Shetty made an official statement about its adjournment from the release of July 11. According to the update, the manufacturers said, “A note from the heart of ambush. Cinema is a living river … sometimes it moves forward, sometimes it stops to collect depth.”

Interestingly, this is the second time Anushka Shetty starrer has been postponed from its release. Earlier, the manufacturers planned to release it on 28 April, 2025, but was taken to July 11, but now it has been replaced once again.
The upcoming film is a crime action that has a woman’s story, which is forced into the trafficking of the canbis, which becomes a legend among her people.
The film directed by Krisha Jagramudi presents Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu as a co-Leide.
Moving forward, recent rumors are doing that Anushka will re -connect with Karthi after many years. According to the ongoing speculation, the actress has been contacted for an important role in Lokesh Kanagaraja’s Kathy 2.
While an official update on casting has not been made yet, reports suggest that she may be playing the role of Dili’s wife in the film, a character mentioned in Kathy (2019).
Anushka Shetty’s upcoming movies
In addition to Gahti, Anushka Shetty Fantasy is ready to make her Malayalam debut in Wild magician – Wild magician. Directed by Home Fame Rosin Thomas, the film features the story of Kadamtattu Katnar, which is concluded by a great Christian priest of the 9th century with magical powers.
As Anushka will play an important role, the film will have Jayasuraya in the title role.
