R Madhavan plays legendary inventor GD Naidu in the biographical period drama, which traces his life, groundbreaking inventions and the challenges that came his way.
The over three-minute long trailer takes the audience through Naidu’s early years, showing how his curiosity and unconventional ideas shaped his path. It also highlights his determination to continue creating despite the many challenges he faced and repeated failures.

Directed by Krishnakumar Ramkumar, GDN stars R Madhavan in the lead role, with Sathyaraj, Priyamani, Jayaram and Dushara Vijayan playing the lead roles.
The screenplay is written by Krishnakumar Ramkumar and R Madhavan.
The film is backed by producer Varghese Moolan in association with Tricolor Films, the banner founded by Madhavan and his wife, Saritha.

On the professional front, Madhavan was last seen stalwart And Dhurandhar: RevengeDirected by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh.
