Actor Mohanlal attended the FIFA World Cup 2026 final at the New Jersey Stadium in New York and shared glimpses from inside the venue ahead of the clash between Spain and Argentina for football’s biggest prize. He posted a video on social media as supporters arrived at the packed stadium for the final.

In the video, Mohanlal gave fans a look at the atmosphere before kick-off and shared a short message for football lovers. Avoiding pre-match predictions, he said, “Relax and enjoy the match.” “The stadium is buzzing. Can’t wait for kick off. #FIFAWorldCup (sic),” the actor wrote in his Instagram post.

When asked if he has any favorite team, the actor said that he does have a favorite team, but did not reveal which side he is supporting. Instead he remained focused on the match and the occasion, although he said his native state Kerala was leaning in Argentina’s favour.

Apart from Mohanlal’s appearance at the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, Shakira, Madonna, BTS and Justin Bieber also performed at the halftime show.
