Feel like the king of the world: Shah Rukh reacts when Academy shares Om Shanti Om speech
Shah Rukh Khan recreated his iconic Om Shanti Om speech after the Academy shared a clip, winning the hearts of fans with his witty reaction. After this, the actor is working on new projects, including Raaka and a reported cameo in his film King.

Leave it to Shahrukh Khan to turn the throwback into a moment. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences then shared a clip of his award Om Shanti Om During the speech, the actor responded with his trademark wit, saying that he now feels like “king of the world”.
The Academy posted an excerpt from the film’s famous monologue with the caption, “One thing about destiny… it doesn’t go away.” The scene, set during an awards night sequence in the film, remains one of Shah Rukh’s most quoted moments.
And Shahrukh clearly enjoyed the nostalgia trip. Reposting the clip on social media, he wrote, “Thank you Academy for sending me down memory lane with Om’s speech. Now I really feel like the king of the world. Ha ha.”

Directed by Farah Khan, Om Shanti Om Released in 2007 and Deepika Padukone debuted in Bollywood. The film, which also starred Arjun Rampal and Shreyas Talpade, was a major box office success and became a pop culture favorite.
Farah Khan also joined the moment by reacting to the post on Instagram Stories. Thanking those who sent it his way, he gave a nostalgic nod with the film’s iconic line, “#pictureabhibakihaimeredost (sic).”

What’s up on SRK’s work front?
Actor Shahrukh Khan is reportedly set to play a brief role in Allu Arjun’s film RakaReuniting with director Atlee young. According to sources, the cameo stems from Atlee’s association with Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone. Official confirmation is still awaited.
