Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has penned a heartfelt note for Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma, praising his leadership and selflessness in the face of recent criticism. Farhan wrote, “Just got to get it off my chest… This man has done so much for Indian cricket and has captained our team incredibly well and successfully over the years. His skill with the bat speaks for itself And there have been countless innings.” In which he has shown us the elite level at which he performs.”

Acknowledging the challenges faced by cricketers, Farhan said: “Yes, the game can be brutal, and you would be hard-pressed to name a cricketer who has not gone through a bad phase. We have seen great batsmen and bowlers Struggles for form… Many times we have secretly wished that he would take a break, find his form in domestic cricket or in the nets and then make a comeback.
