He told that now he is almost the same age as De Niro was in the 2000 film. He said, “I guess you could say I’m the new De Niro of the franchise.”
De Niro joined him on stage, saying, “Don’t say that. It’s very disrespectful.” He said, “You made a very indecent comparison which forced me to defend my honor.”
Praising Ariana, De Niro told Stiller, “She’s got Oscar nominations. How many of those do you have?” Then he said, “I didn’t write this.”
