Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala’s wedding video became the subject of headlines as several reports revealed that the duo has decided to sell it to Netflix. Recently a rumor revealed that the celebrity couple has signed a deal with the OTT giant for a huge sum of Rs. 50 crores. However, it seems there is no truth in the matter.
According to a source close to the couple, such rumors are false and baseless. Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala have really planned to keep their big day very private and private. In such a situation, the question of selling their marriage to Netflix does not arise.
The source said, “There is absolutely no truth in these reports. The rumors of selling their wedding film are completely imaginary and far from any truth. Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala see their marriage as a very intimate affair centered around family and close friends. “They are committed to maintaining the Akkineni family legacy by keeping this happy occasion personal and sacred,” the source said.
Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala, who have always maintained a low profile when it comes to their relationship, want to maintain the same for their marriage. The source further extended the couple’s request to their fans not to follow such speculative reports and not participate in any of them.
Well, previous reports had claimed that Chai and Shobhita’s deal with Netflix was even more than what Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan made on the same platform. For those unaware, the latter’s wedding video was a part of her documentary titled Nayanthara: Beyond the Dreams, which was released by the OTT giant.
Talking about the most talked about wedding, Naga Chaitanya and Shobhita Dhulipala will tie the knot at the prestigious Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad which has a deep association with the Akkineni family.
The couple wanted to celebrate and honor the legacy of Chai’s grandfather, ANR, and so the venue was chosen accordingly, where they would seek the blessings of their ancestors.
Reportedly, being a private affair, only close friends, family members and a few colleagues and members of the film industry will be a part of their wedding.
Expected guests include the entire Daggubati clan, Chiranjeevi and his mega family, Mahesh Babu, filmmaker SS Rajamouli and others.
Meanwhile, amidst the excitement, the Akkineni clan seems to be ready for another celebration as Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil has recently announced his engagement with Zainab Rawadji.
