Pinkvilla recently reported that the trailer of Bhoot Bangla will be attached with the theatrical print of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge. And now, we have learned another exciting update especially about the teasers of two other highly anticipated movies of 2026.
Given the immense anticipation surrounding the release of Dhurandhar 2, Jio Studios is planning to release the teasers of its two upcoming production ventures, Raja Shivaji and Cocktail 2 in theaters along with the Ranveer Singh starrer. This will be a smart move by the production banner as it will take the buzz and excitement about their next two big films up a notch. This decision also matters because this film directed by Aditya Dhar is one of the most talked about films of Indian cinema this year. The spy action drama has so much hype and buzz that it could literally be released tomorrow, and audiences would still flock to theaters.
Talking about Raja Shivaji, it is one of the biggest films of Marathi cinema till date. Riteish Deshmukh is not only playing the lead role of the great Maratha king, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, but is also directing the epic saga. Set to release on the big screens on May 1, Raja Shivaji is one of the first pan-India releases of the Marathi film industry.
Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan, Mahesh Manjrekar, Sachin Khedekar, Bhagyashree, Fardeen Khan and Genelia Deshmukh, the star-studded period drama is produced simultaneously in Marathi and Hindi. It will also be released in dubbed versions including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. According to reports, Salman Khan also has a guest appearance in the film.
Cocktail 2, on the other hand, is a romantic drama that explores modern relationships and their complexities. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film stars Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Its release date has not been announced yet. It is expected to be revealed with its teaser drop on Eid 2026.
