The 39-year-old actor talked about what fans can expect in the film.

Dismissing the idea that it is a spin-off, Ali said, “No, it’s a completely different story. It’s a notch higher and, believe me, people will really enjoy.”

Actors are also preparing for this batwara 1947An upcoming partition drama featuring an ensemble cast led by Shabana Azmi, Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta. During the conversation, Ali talked about sharing screen space with veteran stars and what the audience can expect from the ambitious period film.

“Again, a long-form drama in my kitty. I have scenes with Preity Zinta, Sunny Deol and even Shabana ma’am. It was a great set and Aamir Khan SAAB Is producing it. This is the first time I have worked with him. Sunny Paaji is one of the sweetest people I have met. I am happy and fortunate that I got the opportunity to share screen space and work with him in this important film,” he concluded.

Mirzapur: The Movie Amazon is presented by MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment. It is directed by Gurmeet Singh and written by Puneet Krishna. The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment, and co-produced by Kasim Jagmagiya and Vishal Ramchandani.
