Lindsay Lohan seems to be enjoying her motherhood journey. The actress recently spoke about her and her husband Bader Shamma (whom she married in 2022)’s son Louis Shamma. The actress spoke openly about her achievements.
The Mean Girls star spoke to People magazine during the Kering Foundation Caring for Women dinner in New York City on Monday, September 9. Louis, who turns two on July 17, 2024, celebrated his birthday with a car-themed party. The actress’ publicist reportedly confirmed his birth year as 2023.
The publication asked her about the life milestones she’s looking forward to as her son turns 2 in July, to which Lohan replied that each day is a “milestone,” adding, “Every day I’m surprised and excited.”
During this year’s D23 event, the Parent Trap star told the outlet that she would want to switch places with her baby if possible. “Just to see — because she’s so pure and so happy, just to see life through her eyes every day. She’s just a beautiful ray of joy. I can’t imagine anything else.”
The actress has previously revealed her desire to have more children when she appeared on the Today show with her Irish Wish co-star Ayesha Curry. Journalist Jenna Hager Bush asked her if she wanted more children, and Lohan, who comes from a large family herself and is one of four siblings, replied that she did.
Lohan, who lives in the United Arab Emirates, explained how she settled in the location, telling Allure that it was very comfortable and that Dubai gives her the “space” to have her own “vision” about what she wants to do next.
The actress has been in the news recently as she will be reprising her character, Anna Coleman, in Freaky Friday, released in 2003. It is one of the most memorable and iconic films. She will be starring alongside Jamie Lee Curtis in the sequel titled Freakier Friday, which is scheduled to be released in 2025. It will surely bring back a lot of nostalgia for fans.
She will also reportedly star in a Netflix holiday film titled ‘Our Little Secret’, which is set to release on the platform on November 27, 2024.
