Storm Reid, who has played a memorable role of Zendya’s onscreen sister in the hit HBO series Euphoria so far, will not return to its third season. Talking to TMZ, the actress admitted that she would miss artists and crew but she is “excited” to see what is for her in the future.

Reid considered working with the team and gaining a “amazing” experience for which she will always be indebted. “I will miss them. I will miss walking with them, “he said. Along with this, he expressed his enthusiasm about watching the much awaited new season as an audience.

Reid’s character, Jia, her elder sister, was a pillar of support for Ru (Zandaya) and a moral guide, who was struggling with drug abuse. Now, Jia, who has been in the toxic environment of her home over the years, will get a chance to step into the world after graduating from USC. Reid admitted that her character “something is going on”, which would probably be irrelevant to the story of Ru.

Another major reason for Reid’s next season was his scheduling confusion. The young actress revealed that she has several projects and schedules in the lineup, making it impossible for her to find time for Euphoria. He further said, “Schedules are sometimes not aligned.”

The Last of As’s actress admitted that the third season of the hit drama has been awaited for a long time, especially by fans, with whom she is keen to look at the final product together. The Amy-Vajeta show released its second season in February 2022, and despite a long wait, Reid believes people would be interested in knowing what happens.

He said, “Whether you like it or not, enthusiasm will always remain a cultural event.” The actress believes that the audience will be ready to see the fate of her favorite or less favorite characters.
