Actor Bobby Deol’s film Monkey Released in theaters on 5 June. Ahead of the release, her half-sister, actor Esha Deol, attended a special screening of the film in Mumbai on Thursday. After the screening, Esha praised Bobby’s acting on her Insta story and urged the audience to watch the film in theatres.

Esha shared a picture with Bobby Deol and Tanya Deol on Instagram and wrote, “You are in the best form ever! Undoubtedly the best actor today. Enduring and vulnerable! Way to go, bhaiya.” He encouraged fans to see the film, saying, “Go see Monkey!” Later Bobby re-shared this post on his Instagram Stories.

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Monkey is a crime thriller produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under his banner Saffron Magicworks. The film is written by Sudeep Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee and is inspired by real life events. It stars Bobby Deol in the lead role, along with Sanya Malhotra, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Indrajith Sukumaran, Raj B Shetty and Jitendra Joshi in lead roles.

Monkey premiered in the Special Presentations section at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2025. After Bandar, Bobby will be seen in YRF Spy Universe film Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Sharvari and Anil Kapoor in lead roles.
