Emraan Hashmi called a teenage-style show in India a ‘logistic nightmare’

Actor Emraan Hashmi has shared his ideas on the challenges of making shows such as ‘adolescence’ in India, described the project as “risky” and is difficult to execute.
In an interview with News18Hashmi said, “Adolescence ‘has mostly acted because of its subject – the disadvantages of growing up in these times and social media. But naturally, it is a risky project because it is just four episodes where each is shot in a single.”
He said in detail on the practical issues of trying such a format at the local level, “If you put it in front of a manufacturer, I would say that nine of them will tell you, ‘Are you out of your mind?’ This will be a logistic nightmare.
The Netflix show ‘Adolescence’ follows the story of a 13 -year -old boy (played by a breakout star Owen Cooper), accusing a female classmate to stab a female classmate after getting entangled in online manosfare. Ever since the gripping show was released, it has broken several records and earned fourth place in Netflix’s most popular English-language TV show list.
