Emily in Paris is back with high-end fashion, romance, and extraordinary drama!
Emily (Lily Collins) may be succeeding professionally, but her love life is still in shambles as she struggles to choose between Gabriel and Alfie. The fourth season will pick up after the “dramatic events of Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel’s (Lucas Bravo) wedding gone wrong,” which Emily has still not recovered from!

Emily has unmatched chemistry with both Gabriel and Alfie, and she knows it! At one point in the trailer she says, “They both mean a lot to me for different reasons.” Fans were hoping to eventually see Gabriel and Emily get together, but after Gabriel having a baby with Camille and Emily getting over her breakup with Alfie, there seems to be no end in sight!
The official synopsis reads, “She has strong feelings for two men, but now Gabriel is expecting a baby with his ex-wife, and Alfie’s (Lucien Laviscount) worst fears about her and Gabriel have come true.”
Also, Emily and Gabriel work toward earning a Michelin star for their restaurant. Though the two have an undeniable attraction to one another, secrets, lies, and emotions could tear their relationship apart.
Is Emily ready for new experiences?
In the trailer, the bubbly marketing executive says she’s ready for “new experiences,” but is she referring to her love life or work life? Given her career’s bumpy ride last season, the reference is probably to love.
“Do you know what I saw running around? Hot men everywhere. I guess I was so focused on Gabriel and Alfie that I forgot what it felt like to be single,” she tells her roommate and friend Mindy (Ashley Park).
Another storyline fans can expect to see is Emily’s obsession with social media and posting every detail of her life. “You’ve broadcasted your whole life for public consumption, and now it’s affecting my business,” Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) tells Emily. Sylvie also has a strong starline this season, and will most likely be a good advisor to Emily.
Emily in Paris Season 4 premieres on Netflix on August 15.
