Elon Musk has hinted that he may buy the left-leaning, legacy US media network, msnbc After Donald Trump Jr. jokingly suggested the idea to the world’s richest man. The claim was made citing a post from an account msnbc As parent organisation, Comcast, was putting the cable channel up for sale, Mr Trump Jr tagged the billionaire and wrote: “Hey Elon Musk I have the funniest idea ever!!!”. In response, Mr Musk wrote: “How much does it cost?” The phrase was a call back to a similar answer given by Mr Musk before he bought X (then Twitter).
The Tesla boss responded to Trump Jr. with a laughing crying face emoji, saying: “The most amusing outcome, especially if ironic, is the most likely”. After Joe Rogan, a popular podcast host, also joined the online discussion, Mr Musk commented: “Maybe I should come in there with a sink.”
