Ekta Kapoor calls Bhoot Bangla the biggest hit of her career, thanks Priyadarshan and cast
After the release of the film, Ekta Kapoor thanked Priyadarshan and the Bhoot Bangla team. His note underlined mutual respect, discipline and the film’s strong box-office milestone.

Producer Ekta Kapoor has shared a heartfelt note for director Priyadarshan and the team of ghost bangla Following the film’s theatrical release, he described it as the “biggest hit” of his career.
Ekta Kapoor thanked Priyadarshan
Sharing a long post on social media, Kapoor reflected on collaborating with Priyadarshan, which he described as his 100th film. He said that their journey together was shaped by “deep mutual respect”, despite people expecting “fireworks” when “two stubborn people” come together.

He wrote, “I don’t think I enjoyed working with anyone more than Priyadarshan.”

Kapoor also recalled the first conversation he had with the filmmaker before starting the project. According to him, Priyadarshan had asked, “Ekta, are you making money from this film? If my producer doesn’t make money, I wouldn’t work on any film.”
Describing that mentality as rare, Kapoor said the director made sure producers felt safe before starting a project. He said that he always knew that both the film and the company’s money were “in good hands”.
The producer admitted that they had differences of opinion during the making of the film, but said that those moments were always respectful. He thanked Priyadarshan for his discipline and foresight, writing, “A director has to steer the ship.”

In another post, Kapoor praised the cast of the film, starting with Tabu. She wrote that despite knowing the actor for years and watching many of his films, she is still ‘understanding’ how Tabu is able to bring such depth to ‘every frame and every moment’.
Addressing Vamika Gabbi, whom he called “our very own beauty”, Kapoor welcomed her to the “100 crore+ club” and said he was happy that Bhoot Bangla was the first film for her in that list.
Kapoor also thanked Paresh Rawal and described him as a great person whose presence makes every film feel “whole”. For Rajpal Yadav, he wrote that he “makes comedy and hilarity look very easy”, both on-screen and off-screen, and described him as part of the team’s “dreamteam”.

Earlier, Kapoor had also shared a separate note for Akshay Kumar and his father, veteran actor Jeetendra, thanking them for their discipline, work ethic and faith in a producer’s vision.
