International pop icon aid Sheeran has officially announced the details of its eighth studio album, play, which will be released on 12 September through Gingerbread Records and Atlantic Records. The announcement comes with the release of a brand-new single, Old phone co-produced by Ilya Salmanzadeh and Blake Slatkin.
The “Old Phone” album’s lead single “Azizam” follows the first release, which fell earlier this month. To create an expectation, Sheeran also launched an indifferent Instagram account, @TeddysoldPhone, an indifferent Instagram account, @Teddysoldphone from her personal collection.
Global music effect
Sheeran has taken inspiration from music sounds from a comprehensive cultural spectrum of sounds, especially India and Persia. The Persian “Azizam” song for “My Dear” was released in a joint singing with veteran Iranian singer Gogosh, adding an international taste to the album.
