The teaser trailer for Dune: Part Three was unveiled in Los Angeles, giving a first look at the film’s main characters and its high-level story. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film follows Paul Atreides as he grapples with the consequences of power.

Actress Florence Pugh also returned as Princess Irulan. Zendaya praised her performance, calling it “amazing” and pointing out important developments in the narrative.

Speaking at the event, Villeneuve commented on the scale of the launch, saying, “It’s a trailer launch? It feels like a premiere.” Actors Zendaya and Javier Bardem were in attendance, along with Anya Taylor-Joy and Robert Pattinson.
Timothée Chalamet, who plays Paul Atreides, joined the event via a video message. Praising the filmmaker, he said, “This film would not have existed without Denis Villeneuve. With this third film, he has delivered a true showcase of cinema.”
Zendaya, who reprises her role as Chani, described the franchise as an important part of her career. She said, “These films mean a lot to me. I have grown up working in them.”
According to the makers, the story takes place 17 years after the events of the film. Dune: Part 2 And Dun is taken from Messiah. The story follows Paul Atreides as he recounts the consequences of power and leadership on Arrakis.
Villeneuve described the film as more action-oriented than previous installments. He said, “If the first film was about exploration and the second about war, this one is more tense and action-packed.” He said the story focuses on the burden of power and its consequences.
He further stated that the audience response influenced his decision to complete the trilogy. He said, “There was a lot of excitement for the third film. I felt a responsibility to finish the story.”
Dune: Part Three Expect the story of Paul Atreides to continue as he faces political pressures, personal relationships, and the cycle of violence that defines his rule.
