US President Donald Trump says he can once again expand the deadline for the Chinese company, if there is no agreement before June 19, to sell the US Operations of Tikok. NBC News In a tapped interview with his Mar-e-Lago Estate, Trump said, “I would like to see it,” referring to a long-standing stalled development deal. Tikokkok is facing a ban under the US law until the biodation agrees to shut down its American operations in an American -owned company.

The planned deal has already been delayed twice. Originally ready to be effective in January, Trump postponed the ban in early April, and then, by June, dragged the dialogue. According to Reuters, the proposal under consideration will transfer the American property of Tikok to a new company located in the US, controlled by American investors. However, China objected to the plan, especially after Trump’s announcement of a new tariff on imports from China.

Despite those tensions, Trump said that he believes that China wants to make a deal. “They want to do a lot of business,” they told that NBCRecently pointing to the impact of 145 percent tariffs on Chinese goods. When he refused to leave the tariff just to secure the division of Ticketkok, Trump suggested that he could reduce them as part of a broader agreement in the future.

The delay once again attracts attention to Tiktok, a platform that has long shared political debate in the US over the impact of the Chinese government and the handling of user data. In 2023, American MPs of both parties approved a law to sell the American operations of Tikok or to face a nationwide ban, citing national security concerns associated with their Chinese -origin company.

But Trump, who once banned the app during his first term, has since softened his stance. He now describes Tiktok as “interesting” and credits it to help join with young voters during the 2024 presidential campaign.

His support has criticized some Democratic Senator, who argue that they lack legal rights to extend the deadline. They also question whether the current deal structure meets the legal requirement to completely separate the tickets from Chinese control.

Meanwhile, the discussion behind the curtain is allegedly continuing. According to a report by Reuters, the American investors of the bidence are still working on a solution, but a lot depends on whether the US and China can resolve their ongoing tariff controversies.

Many American firms have shown interest in achieving Tikok’s American operations, including Oracle, whose servers already host tickets data in the country. YouTube personality Mrbeast and AI Startup Perplexity are also nominated in speculative dialects, as well as billing innritious project Liberty Initiative. Microsoft and Amazon have also received bidding for Tiktok’s American business.
