In an old post by her daughter and filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth, it was revealed that the superstar was named ‘Rajinikanth’ on Holi in 1975.

On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in the Vettyian, directed by TJ Gananewell. The film depicted him as an IPS officer, who accidentally encounters the wrong criminal, causing him to take down a rabbit hole as he attempts to resolve the case and customize his ways on the way.
The actor is now ready to appear in a cool directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja. The upcoming action flicks also stars Nagarjuna Akini and Upendra Rao in Pivolel roles, in which Aamir Khan is expected to make a cameo appearance.
Additionally, Rajinikanth Jailor 2, will resume his role in the jailer’s sequel. Directed by Nelson, the film’s production began earlier this month.
