Diya Mirza says that Kafir replaced her: taught me the value of being fearless
Dia Mirza revealed how her role in ‘Kafir’ changed her vision on fearlessness and autonomy. The film conversion of the series offers a new opportunity for the audience to connect with its intense themes.

Actor Dia Mirza was surprised when Zee5 decided to resume its web series ‘Kafir’ as a film. Interestingly, the script written by Bhavini Iyer was originally conceived as a film before developing in a series. In a special chat with India Today Digital, Diya opened her experience of working on ‘Kafir’, saying that it changed her life. He also talked about the importance of asking the correct question and an increase in media investigation faced by the actors.
Talking about ‘Kafir’ after about six years as a film, Diya said that she feels that the project has now come in the full cycle. “I think Bhavini will have to smile himself. It is a great opportunity for the audience who missed watching the show; This film will take them back. People will keep on tagging me heartbreaking right-ups and reels because they had discovered the film. I hope they would like to watch the series now.”
The actor said that this development proves that good material is moderately unknowable. Diya asked the author about working again in a series of a film script, in which Bhavini said she was ‘dancing with Anand’ in her heart. He said, “Bhavini had the opportunity to expand on layers, something that would have been banned by a small format. But honestly, if the stories are actually well written, they are platform and medium unknown.”
Recalling her experience of working on the show, Dia Mirza said that it was a long journey, close to the shooting of three feature films. And while the hill places made it a challenging and fierce experience for him. “But every day was like the biggest high, as we were emotionally connected to it. I loved every moment of being there, and it was the best time. It was the best time. Snow -covered mountains, apricots trees and open children or cool birdsong openness, everything made it a memorable experience,” he said.

Asked how challenging a voice is under the current circumstances, the actor said, “What I say comes from a defined feeling of truth and purpose.” If what are you saying, and why are you saying that it comes from an honest place, what is the fear? Even in front of hatred, danger, or noise, what you say comes from the place of love, it is all. I think Kafir is exactly the same. ,
The actor also said that whatever is happening in social media and film industry, there is now more investigation due to being involved in it. “Also, from Redit to WhatsApp, see the number of platforms.
