Actor Divyendu, who earned widespread appreciation for his role as Munna Tripathi in Mirzapur, shared his excitement for the film. After the makers announced to adapt the series into a movie, fans were quite excited to see their favorite stars together on the big screen.

Speaking to India Today Digital at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), the actor revealed what fans can expect in the film and when the cast is set to start shooting.

Sharing his excitement he said, “When the idea came that we were going to make Mirzapur a film, I was obviously happy but the way we shot the entire announcement was fantastic. It was larger than life and honestly for the first time I wasn’t just happy selfishly, I was happy for the fans, followers and friends because they’re really closely connected to the project and the characters.

Additionally, Divyendu shared what fans can expect from the film. ,time period From what I heard as a one-liner. All I can say right now is that it’s going to be a blast and an absolutely fun ride.”
