Director Prashant Neil, who is known for his big-to-life action glasses, KGF and Salar recently shared a clear insight about their approach to filmmaking during a conversation with actor Amla Akini at Annapurna College of Film and Media. Speaking about his films, he admitted that KGF and Sala are not the kind of films he choose to see personally. He also mentioned that, looking at an alternative, he will make films like Inseptation and Hum Aapke Han Coun.

Neil made his career on high-octain mass entertainers, but in this interaction, he revealed that his personal taste in films is quite different. While reflecting his preferences, he said, “I have made four films, and they are all professional mass films. “But these are not films that I sit on television and watch.” He further said, “If an option is given, I will make a variety of films such as inception or love story, or even attack Hen Coun.

Currently, one of the busiest filmmakers of Indian cinema, Neil has justified several high -profile projects, including Dragon and Salar of Junior NTR: Part 2 – Shuryanga Parvam. Addressing his decision to focus on commercial films, he explained, “I am not here to make a difference; I am here to make livelihood. Creativity, for me, comes from requirements. I want to make a film for Prabhas, Yash or NTR. If I make a film for Prabhas, I can’t make Hum AAPK Han Coun. ,

Neil’s perspective has been shaped with his early conflicts, especially with his first film, Ugram, which failed to take off due to piracy.
