Official trailer and plot of Dies Ira
Dies Irae (meaning day of wrath in Latin) is the story of Rohan, the son of an Indian-American architect, who lives a spoiled, rich-brat lifestyle in a posh area of Kerala. His prosperous life takes a serious turn when Kani, the girl with whom he was once engaged, dies.
At her funeral, Rohan twisted her hair clip and kept it as a memento before returning home. However, he soon begins to be troubled by the malevolent spirit of Kani, who plucks his hair, makes chilanka (knuckling) sounds, and even goes to the extent of attacking him and completely shattering his psyche.
As Rohan becomes frightened, he searches for answers to the horrifying events with the help of Madhusudhanan Potti, an occult expert and descendant of Kodumon Potti of Brahmayugam.
Does Rohan survive the terror and what are the secrets behind it, this traces the basic story of the film.
