Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are all set to launch their new song, Die With a Smile, tonight, August 15. Gaga announced the release schedule on her social media account, which also included a poster of the two dressed in red and blue outfits.
While most of the details about the latest track have been kept secret, it is believed that the musicians will explore the country music genre through their clothing in the poster. Mars and Gaga are not the only ones to transition their music from pop to country this year, as Post Malone and Beyoncé are already pioneers in this field.
Meanwhile, the Uptown Funk singer is returning with a track after two years. The musician last released his Sonic project with Anderson .Paak, for which he received a Grammy Award. As for Gaga, the actress-singer will be releasing her new music in almost four years. The Bad Romance singer released her album Chromatica in 2020, and since then, the Hollywood star has been focusing on her acting career.

Gaga will soon be seen alongside Joaquin Phoenix in Joker 2. The film also features a song by the musician, but according to reports, it’s “like nothing I’ve ever done before.” The A Star Is Born actress will play Harley Quinn.
Talking about her role in the dark thriller, Gaga said, “People know me by my stage name, Lady Gaga, right? That’s who I am as that artist, but this movie is not that.”
She further added, “I’m playing a character. So I’ve worked a lot on the way I sing so that it comes from Lee and not from me as an artiste…How do you take the music and make it an extension of the dialogue, rather than interrupting the song for no conceivable reason?”
Although Gaga and Phoenix will soon begin promoting the second part of Joker, Gaga’s song with Bruno Mars is completely unrelated to the film.
Joker: Folie a Deux is set to release in theaters in October, and its story will be connected to the first part of the franchise. According to the film’s synopsis, “Arthur Fleck, a failed comedian, meets the love of his life, Harley Quinn, while incarcerated at Arkham State Hospital. After their release, the two of them embark on a failed romantic adventure.”
Meanwhile, fans of Gaga and Mars are hoping the upcoming song is good.
