Ram Charan starrer Game Changer is all set to hit the theaters on January 10, 2025, on the occasion of Sankranti. As the film is just days away from release, it is reported that RRR actor and action-thriller director Shankar has asked for lower remuneration for the film than previously planned.
According to a report in Great Andhra, Ram Charan has accepted a remuneration of only Rs 65 crore for the film, especially after the global success of RRR. Due to the film’s delays and postponements the actor decided to accept lower remuneration.
Moreover, the film’s director Shankar has also reduced his fees, taking only Rs 35 crore as remuneration. However, as of now these are just rumors, and no official confirmation has been made.
Moving forward, the film Game Changer released its official trailer on January 2, 2025. As the film is a few days away from release, the makers held a trailer launch event in Hyderabad, which was attended by director SS Rajamouli as the chief guest.
The trailer of the film features Ram Charan as an IAS officer who wants to free the political system from corruption. The two-minute and forty-two second trailer features the global star in dual roles, playing both father and son. Apart from this, the actor was seen in multiple looks in the film.

Since Charan plays the lead role in the film, Kiara Advani plays his love interest. Apart from him, the political action thriller also stars SJ Suryah, Anjali, Samuthirakani, Jayaram, Sunil, Srikanth and many more in lead roles.
The film is based on a story by director Karthik Subbaraj and composed by Thaman, with four singles already available for streaming.
Apart from this, Ram Charan will next be working in a film tentatively titled RC16. Directed by Upena director Buchi Babu Sana, the film is a village-based sports drama.
The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady and Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a lead role. Next, Ram Charan will collaborate with director Sukumar in a film, which will mark their reunion after the 2018 film Rangasthalam.
