According to a report by Let’s Cinema, jailer 2 It is expected that he has secured a deal worth Rs 160 crore with Amazon Prime Video. Reports suggest that the streaming rights were finalized just a few weeks ago, with considerable interest from digital platforms for the exclusive rights.

However, this is unconfirmed, as the makers have not made any official announcement. Reports also indicate that the first installment, Jeller, has secured a deal worth Rs 75 crore due in 2023. Recently, Coolie was reportedly acquired for Rs 120 crore. If these figures are accurate, Jailer 2 marks a significant jump in OTT valuations.

Jailer 2 has an upcoming sequel starring Rajinikanth Starring Nelson in the lead role and directed by Dilipkumar. The action-comedy film will see the superstar reprising the role of “Tiger” Muthuvel Pandian.

The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah and Suraj Venjaramoodu in lead roles. Mohanlal and Shiv Rajkumar are also set to reprise their roles in the sequel.

Earlier there were speculations that Shahrukh Khan will make a cameo in it. However, due to his commitments to King, the actor reportedly declined the offer.

Recently, Jailer 2 became the talk of the town after a clip from the film was leaked online. The producers advised viewers not to repost the scenes to avoid possible account ban or suspension.

After Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is tentatively expected to be seen in a film titled Thalaivar173. The project was initially announced to be directed by Siby Chakraborty. However, recent reports suggest that there may be a change in direction, with Ashwath Marimuthu possibly taking over. There is no official confirmation yet.

The film was originally planned with Sundar C in the lead, but he later backed out of the project.
