Dhurandhar: The Revenge collected US$2.85 million in its third weekend and with this it has crossed the US$40 million mark. It becomes the third Bollywood film to do so in its original release. Notably, the other two, Pathan and Jawan, did so with a release in the Middle East, one of the major overseas markets. On the other hand, Dhurandhar: The Revenge missed its release in the Middle East.
The total overseas box office collection is approximately US$40.20 million (₹378 crore). Combined with Rs. 1106 crores in India (Rs. 922 crores), the worldwide box office of the Ranveer Singh starrer is Rs. Approximately 1484 crores. It is the second-highest Bollywood film of all time after Dangal, and the fourth-highest Indian film of all time, behind Baahubali: The Conclusion and Pushpa: The Rule. It will cross Rs. 1500 crores tomorrow and then Rs. 1600 crore in the coming weeks. It remains to be seen whether it can beat the initial earnings of Baahubali 2 or not.
Breaking down its gross earnings. The film has already made record collections in the United States, Canada and Australia. The latter two are also records for Indian cinema. Among the benchmarks, the film has crossed CAD 8 million and CAD 9 million in Canada and today it is on track to become the first film to gross CAD 10 million. In Germany, it became the first non-European co-production to collect 1 million euros. It has also crossed the GBP 4 million mark in the United Kingdom and is on track to overtake ‘Pathan’ as the record grosser. Several other smaller markets posted record or near-record trading.

Comment: Canada is traditionally reported as North America along with the United States. The problem with doing this is that Canadian grosses are not converted from CAD to USD, but are taken as is. At Pinkvilla we report both separately and convert Canadian grosses from CAD to USD, which is the correct and fair way of reporting and is also becoming the industry norm recently.
Without conversion, Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s North American box office is US$26.20 million, and accordingly, the total overseas gross is US$42.80 million. This is a traditional but incorrect method of reporting, which some people still adopt.
