Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office Collection: Crosses US million from overseas in first week, taking Rs. Rs 1000 crore worldwide today

Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office Collection: Crosses US$28 million from overseas in first week, taking Rs. Rs 1000 crore worldwide today

Dhurandhar: The Revenge has grossed approximately US$27.75 million (Rs 261 crore) overseas in its first week. Combined with Rs. After earning Rs 720 crore (Rs 600 crore) from India, the worldwide box office collection of the Ranveer Singh starrer has now reached Rs. 981 crores. It will cross Rs. The Rs 1000 crore mark today, on its ninth day of release, is the fastest ever for any Indian film, jointly with Pushpa: The Rule and Baahubali: The Conclusion.

The film grossed record numbers in its first weekend and, since then, has held strong on weekdays in all markets, breaking several weekday box office records. Now there will be a surge in business once again in its second weekend. It could reach the USD 30 million mark today, and by Sunday, it should be at or around USD 35 million. For some perspective, the first Dhurandhaar finished its run at US$30.20 million. This occurred as the film achieved all-time record business in three major markets, the United States, Canada and Australia.

Talking about all-time records, these three are rapidly moving towards a new record. The United States and Australia will arrive there on Saturday, and Canada will arrive there on Sunday. Germany, which has been emerging as a major market recently, could also set a new record by the end of this weekend. The United Kingdom is on its way to overtaking Pathan, although it will take some time. Many smaller markets are also expected to hit record highs this weekend or soon after.

Overall, the film is on track to cross the US$40 million mark and move closer to US$45 million. The highest-grossing Bollywood films overseas other than East Asia are Jaawaan and Pathan, both of which earned approximately US$48 million. Dhurandhar: Revenge is unlikely to catch them at this point, but with some overperformance it might. This is absurd because typically a large portion of the youth and foreign business comes from the Middle East, where Dhurandhar: The Revenge has not been released. If that were the case, it would likely have already raised over USD 35 million and potentially be aiming for USD 60 million or so.

The regional breakdown of Dhurandhar: The Revenge overseas box office is as follows:

area Total
United States of America USD 11,850,000
Canada USD 4,575,000
Australia USD 3,540,000
new zealand 450,000 US dollars
Singapore 480,000 US dollars
Nepal 480,000 US dollars
malaysia 285,000 US dollars
rest of asia 300,000 US dollars
united kingdom USD 3,675,000
Germany USD 815,000
Netherlands 265,000 US dollars
rest of Europe USD 800,000
rest of the world 225,000 US dollars

migrant USD 27,740,000

Note: Canada is traditionally reported as North America along with the United States. In doing so, the Canadian gross is not converted from CAD to USD, but is taken as is. At Pinkvilla we report both separately and convert Canadian grosses from CAD to USD, which is the proper way of reporting and is recently becoming the industry norm.

Without conversion, Dhurandhar: The Revenge’s North American box office is US$18.12 million, and accordingly, the total overseas gross is US$29.45 million. This is a traditional but incorrect method of reporting.
