The original sequence of the film shows Ranveer’s Hamza returning to Punjab, standing just a few steps away from his family. But he does not go to them. Instead, he sees his mother and sister from a distance and walks away silently. Across the border, his wife Yalina (Sara Arjun) lives in Pakistan with their son. Choosing his mission over the two, Hamza is left with nothing but loneliness.
