Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge creates history in its advance sales. Previews of the film will begin at 5 pm across India, and just before the first show gets underway, the Ranveer Singh starrer has closed its pre-sale at 8.75 lakh tickets across the top two national chains, PVRINOX and Cinepolis, for the opening day including the premiere. There were also dubbed versions of the film, which collectively earned more than Rs 9 lakh, but these shows were canceled due to censor delays.
Breaking down the numbers, only around 4.60 lakh tickets were sold for Wednesday’s paid premiere, while the film recorded 4.15 lakh admissions for the first day. Thursday’s final sale is expected to be around the 5 lakh mark, depending on how it performs in the final hours.
With this, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has become the highest ticket-selling film in the Bollywood national series, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan’s two films, Pathan and Jawan, both of which had sold over 5 lakh tickets.

As of 5pm, previews are around Rs. Figure of 34 crores. It is expected to reach close to Rs. EOD grossed ₹40 crore, especially in South India due to the dubbed version of the show being shifted to Hindi. It is likely to close around Rs. on opening day on Thursday. 30 crore figure by EOD.
