Actor Dhanush donated Rs 25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help victims of the Wayanad landslide.

Filmmaker and actor Subramanyam Siva shared the news on his official X handle. He wrote, “Our dear #Dhanush has extended his support for #Wayanad flood relief. @dhanushkraja has contributed Rs 25 lakhs towards flood relief efforts.”

On August 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Choorlama area in Wayanad district of Kerala, where A deadly landslide occurredOver 400 people were killed and many were injured. The Prime Minister conducted an aerial survey and visited relief camps where survivors and those being treated in hospitals are staying.
Three Meppadi witnessed two consecutive heavy landslides The landslide on July 30 buried houses and establishments and killed several people. The state hopes that the central government will classify the landslide as Level 3 of the National Disaster Management Plan, which will lead to more central assistance for rebuilding the area and rehabilitating survivors.
