Deepika recently revealed that she was ‘navigate’ how her life post would become a mother, and she has not been able to ‘reply yet.’
On May 1, 2025, Deepika Padukone attended the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves) in Mumbai. She sat for a conversation with Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan. Karan asked Om Shanti Om actress about the big change in her life after the birth of her daughter, Dua.
In response, Deepika said that she was searching for her new life post, embracing motherhood. He expressed how a person became responsible for another after giving birth to a child. “And especially the way I have led my life, it’s a lot about me, my ambition, my career, and everything has been about my life and everything that I wanted for myself. And now, suddenly, suddenly, suddenly, you are taking care of this little thing that depends on you,” he said.
Deepika further shared that she always wanted to become a mother, and she was enjoying that stage. He said, “But I think now I am navigating what this new life is for me, what is going to happen after motherhood.” The actress said that now the child comes before herself. “I am navigating it. I don’t think I have received the answer yet,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan expressed confidence that Deepika Padukone was going to be a ‘wonderful’ mother for Dua. SRK and DP have worked together in many films, and now their fans are ready for another cooperation.
