Motorola unveiled its next generation foldables earlier this week – they are the first razrs with dust resistance (IP48 ratings), which is very rare in the foldable segment. Motorola also used a proper flagship chip for Ultra, while also improved screen, camera and battery.
The Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Elite (this time is powered by a 4,700mAh battery with 68W wired and 30W wireless charging. It has three 50mp cameras: 50MP main (1/1.56 ”, OIS, 8K @ 30fps), 50MP Ultra-Wide (instead of 2x Tele) and 50MP selfie camera inside. Performing inside is now 7” and grows up to 4,000 NITs, while the cover display is 4. See our review for more details.

16/512GB – £ 1,100 in Amazon UK
2025 Ultra comes out from Monday from two weeks from now, so in the meantime, check last year’s Motorola RAZR 50 Ultra. It uses Snapdragon 8S General 3, which is still very fast. Internal performance has low resolution (1080p+ vs. 1224p+) and peak shine (3,000 NITs). The battery is small and slow (4,000mAh, 45W wired and 15W wireless charging). Nevertheless, 2024 Ultra is a competent flip foldable that is more than £ 300 cheaper than the new model.

But perhaps it is better to compare it with Motorola RazR 60. This model is also given IP48, so it is one on RAZR 50 Ultra. In addition, it has a large 4,500mAh battery (30W/15W charging). Although it spends the same as the year old flagship, it loses about each aspect-especially a distance of 7400x is a concern as it is an entrance level/middle-rang chip.
