Speaking outside the courthouse after Tuesday’s hearing, Patrick Steinfeld shared what he saw inside the courtroom. According to him, the photographs shown as evidence were “horrible” and difficult to look at.Steinfeld said the photos were so disturbing that Celeste Rivas’ mother, Mercedes Martinez, cried throughout the hearing and never recovered after seeing the photos.He also described the moment when Deputy District Attorney Beth Silverman asked an LAPD detective what was seen in one of the photos. According to Steinfeld, the detective replied that it was Celeste’s head. He claimed that the condition of the remains was so severe that it was impossible to identify them as the body of a person.Steinfeld also said that he believed the evidence presented during the hearing to be accurate. He said that, in his opinion, D4VD should receive a sentence of life imprisonment without the possibility of parole if found guilty.
Prosecutors outline charges as D4vd pleads not guilty
Prosecutors allege that D4vd lured Celeste Rivas to his Hollywood Hills rental home and murdered her because he claims she was planning to expose their relationship. He further alleged that her mutilated body was later left inside a Tesla registered to the singer.D4vd has denied all allegations. He has pleaded not guilty to every charge filed against him.The charges include first-degree murder under special circumstances. Prosecutors have also accused him of lying in ambush, committing a crime for financial gain, murdering an investigation witness, committing an indecent and lewd sexual act with a person under the age of 14, and mutilating a human body.This is only the allegation of the prosecution and no decision has come from any court yet.
