Superstar Rajinikanth has been slated to hit a big screen with the film Cool, released on August 14, 2025. Recently, the manufacturers unveiled a character poster featuring Aamir Khan, and seems to have paved the way for new speculation about IMX guidelines.
Did the manufacturers of Coolie violate the IMAX rules?
In a recent announcement, the manufacturers of the Coolie announced Aamir Khan with a character poster, revealing him to play Daha. However, in the same update, it was reported that Rajinikanth starring the IMAX format would also be released.
Although Sun Pictures has announced, IMAX Corporation is yet to announce whether the cool will reach its screen. Is it more interesting that the fact is that the Imax screen is expected to be killed everywhere in War 2 and it is colliding with the Rajinikanth starrer.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, war 2 makers have closed a special deal with IMAX. In his agreement, no other film is said to hit the IMAX screen in India.
While the deal is estimated to be effective, it came as a surprise that cool makers mentioned the film to come on IMAX along with the official logo.
In addition, it is said that any film in collaboration with the corporation has a tag of “experience in IMX” or “filmed for IMX”. However, the manufacturers mention it “See in IMAX”, going against the company’s mandate.
