Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna’s ‘Cocktail 2’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and Shahid has now teased the start of the shoot. The actor shared a selfie on Instagram, captioned it: “New beginning !!! ‘Cocktail 2’ (SIC).”

He tagged the Rashmika and Kriti in the post, which gave fans the first glimpse of the trio simultaneously on the set. In the picture, Shahid saw it easily dashing, sporting a neatly trimmed beard and a smart hairstyle.

The sequel is produced by Dinesh Vision’s Madock Films and is written by Luv Ranjan. While the description of the plot lives under wrapping, the manufacturers are targeting for a dramatic release in the late 2026. There was a discussion around the film when Homi Adjania’s wife Anita Shroff Adjania, shared a glimpse of the ‘Cocktail 2’ script on her Instagram story, which was done from the film. Shahid and Rashmika have also teased their appearances, and have increased their enthusiasm.

The original ‘Cocktail’ was a contemporary love triangle starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Panty. The film was widely appreciated for taking fresh on friendship and romance, its memorable soundtrack and Deepika’s standout performance, which strengthened her position as one of the leading Bollywood stars.

Meanwhile, artists are juggling other projects. Krishi recently wrapped ‘Tere Ishaq Mein’ with Dhanush, slate for release on 28 November, and rumored to sign ‘Don 3’ in front of Ranveer Singh. Shahid is currently shooting for a period drama directed by Arjun Ustara, which is the co-act of Triptai Dimri and Radip Hooda. Rashmika, who was last seen in ‘Kubera’, has many upcoming films, including ‘Massa’, ‘The Girlfriend’, ‘Thama’ and ‘Animal Park’.
