Cocktail 2 box office day 3: Kriti-Shahid’s film ends the weekend on a high note
A strong Sunday helped actor Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna and Shahid Kapoor’s Cocktail 2 maintain its momentum at the box office. Here’s a look at the film’s third day collection and weekend performance.

According to trade website SacnilkBy the end of the third day, the film grossed Rs 76.25 crore worldwide, including Rs 57 crore in India and Rs 19.25 crore overseas. Its total Indian net collection stood at Rs 47.50 crore from 31,542 shows.

The film showed growth in its opening weekend. On its first Friday, the romantic comedy earned Rs 16.20 crore and Rs 13.50 crore nett. On Saturday it collected a gross of Rs 19.50 crore and a net collection of Rs 16.25 crore. On Sunday, this figure increased to Rs 21.20 crore and the net became Rs 17.50 crore.
By the end of the weekend, the film’s total gross collection in India stood at Rs 57 crore, while its total net collection in India stood at Rs 47.50 crore. Its overseas collection was Rs 19.25 crore, taking the worldwide total to Rs 76.25 crore.

The film had 10,462 shows on Sunday and had 29 percent occupancy. The National Capital Region had the highest number of shows at 1,170, followed by Mumbai at 711 and Ahmedabad at 582 shows.
Despite competition from Imtiaz Ali, the film maintained its hold i will come back. The film starring Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari and Vedang Raina earned Rs 5.75 crore on its second Sunday i.e. 10th day. Its total India net collection stood at Rs 24.25 crore and its gross collection stood at Rs 40.75 crore. It has grossed Rs 11.7 crore globally.

Directed by Homi Adajania, cocktail 2 It revolves around Kunal, played by Shahid Kapoor, and Dia, played by Rashmika Mandanna, who are childhood friends. Although they share a strong bond, they are hesitant to take the next step towards marriage. Their lives take an unexpected turn during a holiday in Sicily, where they reconnect with Dia’s close friend Ellie (Kriti Sanon), who convinces them to abandon their travel plans and spend time with her.
What starts off as a fun-filled holiday soon turns into an emotional journey. As insecurities begin to surface, Diya begins to question Kunal’s true feelings and asks whether he is marrying her out of love or a sense of responsibility.
