The trailer gives a glimpse of the world of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Vicky as the Maratha ruler displays intensity, bravery, knowledge and strength while fighting against the Mughals. Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the role of Maharani Yesubai, wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, also manages to leave an impact with her acting.

Chhava is set to release in theaters on February 14.
The film narrates the heroism of Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and shows him the power of the four great natural elements that make up the world – earth, fire, water and air.
The period drama also stars Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, Santosh Juvekar and Pradeep Rawat in lead roles. AR Rahman has composed the music for the film. Chhava is bankrolled by Maddock Films.
