Global pop-icon BTS has been crowned the most streamed K-pop act globally, according to the Spotify Wrapped list announced on December 4, 2024 (IST). They have remained unbeatable since 2018. The group has not released a new album since 2022 (the last album was Proof) and yet they still hold records.

He also holds the record as the only Asian act to have 100 songs exceed 100 million streams, joining global artists like Drake and Bad Bunny in the feat. Additionally, three of his albums, including Love Yourself: Tear, have all had tracks exceed 100 million streams, a distinction shared with The Weeknd.

The septet continues to dominate despite ongoing hiatus as members complete military service. Their members’ solo careers have also flourished, with projects like Jungkook’s GOLDEN and Jimin’s MUSE gaining massive popularity. According to the data, Jimin’s “WHO” was the most streamed single by an Asian act on Spotify globally, ranking 17th, while Jungkook’s song “Seven” ranked 28th and “Standing Next to You” ranked 28th.
