Global music icon Bryan Adams will kick off his ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour in India with a concert in Kolkata. The city was initially not part of the original tour schedule but has now been added to the itinerary. The tour will kick off in December, with the opening show in Kolkata on December 8.

Bryan Adams made an exciting announcement about his upcoming concert via his Instagram handle. “Namaste India! I am very happy to announce that I will be returning to India with my ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour in December 2024. Get ready for a great concert.
Tickets are available exclusively on Zomato Live. Can’t wait to meet you. Let’s rock! #sohappyithurts (sic)”, he wrote.

Program organiser Rajdeep Chakraborty spoke to IANS. News18 and confirmed Bryan’s Kolkata concert. “We are very excited; we approached Mahesh Bhupathi’s team, who is bringing them to India, and convinced Bryan’s team. Kolkata is the cultural capital of India – how can they miss it?” he said. He added that the concert will be held at Aquatica, where extensive preparations are underway to create a memorable experience for the attendees.

The upcoming ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour is Bryan Adams’ sixth visit to India but his first concert in Kolkata. Fans can expect classic hits like ‘Summer of ’69’, ‘Please Forgive Me’ and ‘Everything I Do (I Do It for You)’ along with tracks from his new album. This combination will surely please old fans.
