Britney Spears had a heartfelt reunion with her once-estranged son Jaden on Christmas 2024 and shared clips of their celebration. In a new since-deleted video, the Gimme More singer showed off her 18-year-old boyfriend unboxing his Christmas gift.
“Okay, okay, oh, that’s good. Wow, this is really nice, the Grammy winner could be heard saying in the background as Jaden opened his gift, a black sweater. The latter thanked her mom for the gift, and the pop star immediately replied, “You’re welcome.”
“Moms deserve more respect than they get these days!!!” Spears wrote in the caption. Earlier, the pop star had shared a clip of her holiday celebration and called it the “best Christmas” of her life.
She admitted not seeing her son for two years and crying tears of joy at their reunion. “Literally in shock every day, coo coo crazy, much love and blessings!!! He thanked Jesus for making it possible.
Jaden – who moved to Hawaii with his brother Sean Preston and their father Kevin Federline in August 2023 – flew to Los Angeles to visit his mother after celebrating his 18th birthday. Jaden is following in Spears’ footsteps in the music industry, and a source recently revealed that the pop star is fully in support of his decision.
The source told Page Six that the Baby One More Time hitmaker is “confident” about his son’s music-making talents and thinks he has a refreshing style. “He’s very proud of her and all she’s done for her passion,” the source said.
In addition to the holiday post, she also gushed about her “talented” son in an additional post on her Instagram on December 31. Spears started off by calling Jaden her twin, but also described him as bigger and smarter than her. “He is a man and I cry every day of my life because of his miracle and genius. When he plays, the whole earth shakes.”
