Border 2 earned Rs. Collected. It collected around Rs 18.50 crore at the Indian box office on Tuesday, taking its five-day total to Rs. About Rs 184 crore nett. The decline from the opening day is 35 percent, which is generally considered a strong hold for Monday; Here, it came a day later, so even better.
However, since the film had a good opening day and the collections grew to very high levels over the weekend, a better investigation can be done by comparing Sunday and Monday. Since those days, the film is down 63 percent and 65 percent respectively. These are healthy drops, although ideally they could have been a little better given the pace of the weekend.
Another small caveat here is that, while Borderlands 2 did not opt for Discount Tuesday, it was seen with a grain of salt that Tuesdays were still seeing an increase, as there are now additional viewers for that day, who are accustomed to the discount day. Thus, Wednesday is the first real normal working day for the film. Today’s reveal will provide a clear direction as to where the film is ultimately headed. With a normal decline on Wednesday, the film will be on its way to Rs. 215 crores in the first week and around Rs. 400 million.
On Tuesday, Rajasthan held their opening day tally, which was excellent in itself. Central Circuit also remained close to its opening day numbers, although they had a good start, so there was room for improvement. Delhi-UP and Bihar also remained in good condition, especially on the UP side, while East Punjab also declined. A decline was also seen in Mumbai, especially in Gujarat, where the film has not performed well so far. This is in contrast to Gadar 2, for which Gujarat was one of the leading markets, but for Border 2 it is clearly lagging behind. Why is it like this? It’s hard to say, as there are no obvious causes on the surface.
The box office collection of Border 2 in India is as follows:
| Day | net |
|---|---|
| Friday | Rupee. 28.50 crores. |
| Saturday | Rupee. 35.00 crores. |
| sunday | Rupee. 49.00 crores. |
| monday | Rupee. 53.00 crores. |

| Total | Rupee. 184.00 crores. |
