Border 2 starring Sunny Deol in lead role along with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty witnessed a decline on fourth Wednesday and collected Rs 10 crore. 45 lakhs to tally. This brings its fourth week revenue to Rs. 6 crores in 6 days, Rs. in the whole week. 6.50 crore nett, which brings its running cum to Rs. Will take till. 302.50 crores or so.
Based on current trends, the military action drama will make around Rs. 305 crore to Rs. Earning Rs 310 crore at Hindi box office. While this is a promising result, it is still far behind Deol’s Gadar 2.
Backed by T-Series Films and Jaypee Films, Border 2 emerged as a hit venture. The film has performed better in the northern circuits, where Rajasthan is close to a blockbuster, while Delhi-UP and East Punjab have done super hit business. Poor performance has come to light in Gujarat and Central Circuit of CPCI, due to which Sunny Deol’s film could have been expected to perform strongly, but it did not happen. It is the second highest grossing film for Sunny Deol and the best film in the career of the rest of the actors.
