Actor Vardhan Puri, grandson of the prestigious Amrish Puri, recently took the center stage in Bobby and Rishi’s love story, where he shared screen space with filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor’s daughter Debutant Cauvery Kapoor and actress-singer Suutramurthi. The film made a grand debut at Disney+ Hotstar on 11 February 2025. Now, Vadhan has expressed her excitement about a possible on-screen pair with Suhana Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, which praises her talent and predicts that she shines to shine in the industry.
In a conversation with Atiems, Vardhan Puri shared her ideas on actresses with whom they expect to cooperate in Bollywood. When asked about the younger generation about the co-stars of his dreams, he expressed praise for Alia Bhatt, calling him a person whom he respects deeply.
He also praised the ability of Ananya Pandey, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, which had an eagerness to work with him. Giving a special mention of Suhana Khan, he said, “A special shout for Suhana Khan. I think she is going to shine very bright. It would really be exciting to add her to a film.”
Bobby and Rishi’s love story actors are set to cooperate with famous filmmaker Shekhar Kapoor in the upcoming medical drama, taking an important step in their career. Talking about the same, he said that the project would see him searching for a style, which he has not worked earlier, offered a new challenge under Kapoor’s mentorship.
Describing the film as a passion project, it will work with a team of highly experienced industry veterans, making it a milestone attempt for him.
Meanwhile, Bobby and Rishi’s Love Story, Production Headquarters Limited and Indian Scone Production Limited, directed by Kunal Kohli, are supported by Jio Studio in collaboration with UK. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Mohan Nadar, the film premiered on February 11, 2025 at Disney+ Hotstar.
For The Anward, Vardhan Puri made her Bollywood debut in 2019 and has been seen in films like Bloody Ishq since then.
