  • First of all, heat oil in a pan, then add some minced garlic and butter. Fry until fragrant.
  • Add chopped onion, carrot, cauliflower, beans and capsicum. Give it a good mix.
  • Roast the black pepper and cumin seeds separately, then crush them with a mortar and pestle. Sprinkle this fresh spice into the vegetable mixture.
  • Add black gram water (the liquid obtained after boiling gram) along with boiled black gram. Let it boil for a few minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and add cheese pieces. Let it cook for a few more minutes.
  • To serve, place the boiled black gram in a bowl, sprinkle some lemon juice over it and pour the hot soup over it. Done!
