Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 has finally come to an exciting finale. Launched on September 28 last year, the season saw rivalries, friendships, endless drama, singles and doubles entries, chaos and what not. The show started with 19 contestants, and after weekly evictions and some wild card entries, the grand finale resulted in 6 finalists.
The closing ceremony hosted by actor Kiccha Sudeep was spectacular. And with the conclusion of this season, the show has found its winner, and he is none other than Gilli Naata. Meanwhile, Rakshita Shetty emerged as the runner-up.
Gilli Nata not only won the trophy but also took home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh. Interestingly, the trophy has been designed to reflect the essence of Karnataka’s rich culture and heritage. As soon as he was declared the winner, the actor was overjoyed and started smiling. Kiccha congratulated him and the other contestants on the stage also hugged him.
Known for his humor and wit, Gilli is an emerging Kannada actor and comedian. He is famous for his participation in Comedy Killadis Season 4, where he was the runner-up. Apart from this, Gilly was also seen in films like First Day First Show and Langoti Man. His victory in Bigg Boss Kannada 12 shows how he survived all the obstacles and challenges throughout the season.
For those unaware, Bigg Boss Kannada 12 featured contestants from various walks of life such as actors, models, activists, social media creators and more. The lineup included Sudhir Balraj, Kavya Shaiva, Gilli Nata, Satish Cadboms, Chandra Prabha, Dhanush Gowda, Jahanvi, Manju Bhashini, Rashika Shetty, Abhishek Srikanth, Mallamma, Dhruvant Talwar, Ashwini S, Malu Nippal, Karibasappa, Rakshita Shetty, Spandana Somanna, Ashwini Gowda and RJ Amit Pawar. On the other hand, the wild card entrants were Raghu, Risha Gowda, Rajath Kishan, Chaitra Kundapura and Suraj Singh.
