The veteran actor also acknowledged the enthusiasm of his fans, saying, “They come irrespective of the weather – rain, shine, cold.. and the same enthusiasm.. is very deeply moving for me.”

Reflecting on the ongoing monsoon in Mumbai, Bachchan said, “The rains are not subsiding.. floods continue.. Yes, the monsoon has been delayed, and now the water resources – surrounding lakes are filling up.. some difficulty for residents.. farming.. but this too shall pass.”

He ended his note with a message of caution, writing, “Everyone stay well.. stay safe.. go out only when absolutely necessary.. like in Mumbai.. but in general also.. you all are very precious.”

His post came amid heavy rains across Mumbai and soon after, a video of rain water entering the Jalsa premises went viral on social media. The clip shows water collecting outside the bungalow before flowing into the compound as nearby drains struggle to handle the heavy rain. Many users said that these scenes highlight the frequent monsoon floods in the city.

Heavy rains have affected several parts of Mumbai over the past few days, leaving roads flooded, traffic jams and daily life disrupted. With more rain expected, civic authorities are continuing efforts to clear blocked drains and reduce flooding.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for his comeback in the sequel Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film also stars Prabhas and Kamal Haasan in lead roles.
