With his upcoming horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla, Akshay Kumar is once again grabbing attention, and this time not just for his performance, but for a heartfelt gesture rooted in trust and respect. The first song of the film ‘Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge’ was released recently and fans noticed that she is not wearing shoes in the song.
Choreographer Ganesh Acharya has now revealed that it is a conscious decision that both he and Akshay Kumar constantly follow while filming devotional songs. Ganesh told, “Whenever we work on God’s songs, we take care not to wear slippers or shoes. Akshay and I have worked on Lakshmi Bomb’s song Bam Bhole Full, there are no shoes in that too, nor in this one. When the name of Lord Ram, Lord Shiva or any other God is taken, it is not good to dance wearing shoes. Akshay and I always take care of this. We have done many songs in which we have kept this in mind.”
The pair have collaborated on many energetic and devotional tracks over the years, and this attention to detail has become a silent tradition between them. In Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, this thoughtful choice adds an extra layer of authenticity to the performance.
